  • Dean Zaremba is a senior network engineer that has been designing enterprise LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi networks for over 20 years. Erin O’Reilly is a network engineer that specialized in network security.  Both are blockchain enthusiasts willing to make it our careers.

      

  • Free Space is located Reno, NV, USA. Our roots started in LAN / WAN networking over 20 years ago, we but have quickly become block-chain enthusiasts. We are investing in Tron for all the right reasons and take a long-term viewpoint. We believe in the overall mission, a decentralized network, and community spirit. We have been successful in all our ventures, so we are very confident that we can bring value to the Tron community.

    We have a combination of technical, marketing and communication skills, which makes us perfect SR candidates. We are adequately self-funded and operate with a small-business mentality. This means, we will run our node reliably with proper redundancy, but at a very fair price, as we believe in right-sized engineering. We are fortunate enough to be only 20-miles from the most redundant and secure hosting facility ever built. It is a green facility, has low electrical costs at under 5 cents per kWh, a 35% guaranteed savings on internet bandwidth, some of the lowest taxes in the world, and sub 20 ms ping times to half of the USA.

    This will allow us to reinvest much of our block rewards back into the community. However, we are not foolish enough to make any guarantees or commitments that we might not be able to keep. It will take a few months, to track and document the finances of being a Super Representative, at which time we can have a more detailed plan. But our main targets will be internships / scholarships to bring more people into the Tron ecosystem and a disaster fund to help other Tron SR and supporters that have suffered from natural disaster and war.

  • We believe right-sizing nodes is critical to managing costs.  As a community, if we over built, we will waste money.  And if we under build, we will won’t be able to handle growth.   Therefore, we plan to build a robust testing environment.  We want to test performance with different bandwidth, processor speeds, memory, failover, etc.  The goal is to find the perfect balance of performance and cost.  All findings will be shared with the community. Based on finding we will expand accordingly.  Our initial production server will be 36 cores, 1.28 TB RAM, and 20 TB hard drive. 

    Our primary servers will be located at switch data center in Reno, NV, USA.  It is the first tier 5 facility in the world. It the most redundant and secure hosting facility ever built. It has sub 20 ms ping times to the western half of the USA. It is a green facility, has low electrical costs at under 5 cents per kWh, a 35% guaranteed savings on internet bandwidth, some of the lowest taxes in the world, and sub 20 ms ping times to half of the USA.     After main net launch, our primary location in Reno, NV will expand too four bare metal servers with load-balancing.  Each server will be 36 cores, 1.28 TB RAM, and 20 TB hard drive.   Our internet bandwidth will be 25 Gbps with load balancing between 3 tier 1 providers.  Within 3-6 months, once main net demand can be measured, we will duplicate this set up at a second hosting facility in LAS Vegas.   From there, we will always scale based on "right-sized" engineering.

    We expect to invest between $100 -$200k, as needed until operations are self-sustaining.
